I just saw a CNN poll that said that 61% of the people polled thought that the current conflict in the Middle East will eventually escalate into World War III. Well, you can count me in with this rather overwhelming majority. This is definitely an overwhelming majority in comparison to the miniscule majority that questionably put the worst President in our history in office. TWICE!!! I'm starting to feel like we'll all soon be extras in the worst disaster movie ever. Only, it won't be a movie!! Two recent developments(very recent:they both happened today) are extremely disturbing. First: Israeli air strikes killed 4 U.N. observers, and Kofi Annan is accusing Israel of bombing them deliberately. He must have some very credible evidence for this or else he wouldn't make such a bold claim so soon after the event. In reality it is too soon to know if it's true or not, but if it is: Way to go Israel !

Great way to get more people to support your cause! Bomb the U.N.! Whose brilliant idea was this? I know that a lot of people out there aren't exactly big fans of the U.N. (including me) but isn't this a bit extreme? Second : The leader of Hezbollah announced that they were about to take it to the next level and bomb Israeli cities further south than Haifa. They're getting ready to break out the long-range rockets they haven't used yet. Way to go Hezbollah! Great way to get more people to support your cause! (Not in this country anyway.The jihadists, however are just getting even more riled up.) Bomb more cities! Kill more civilians! Isn't there any person or group out there who can STOP THIS MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out this story from the war. Some people were injured in a bombing in Lebanon and then just to add insult and even more injury to injury, the ambulance taking them to the hospital was bombed! Are these the unluckiest people in the world or what? There was also an image that I saw yesterday that I still can't get out of my mind: a young Lebanese boy about 8 or 9 whose face had been grotesquely burned beyond recognition in an Israeli airstrike. His screams of pain were just heartbreaking. And what did they show next? An old Israeli woman covered with blood screaming in pain being rushed into the hospital. I'm convinced now that there is no hope whatsoever of peace in the Middle East and our country's presence in Iraq combined with our blind support of Israel is doing nothing but exacerbating an already disastrously volatile situation. And to anybody who thinks that the United States can help bring peace in the region: Can I please have some of what you're smoking? If our smartest president couldn't bring peace to the Middle East what hope do we have that our dumbest one can? Oh,and let's not forget Iraq! Here's an encouraging statistic : 100 Iraqi civilians on average being killed every day. Let me repeat. 100 IRAQI CIVILIANS BEING KILLED EVERY DAY!!!!!!

I'm also deeply concerned about the ramifications of this continuing conflict in our country. We have the potential to become even more polarized then we are now (if that's possible). I pray that it doesn't get to the point where anyone who legitimately criticizes Israel gets labeled as an anti-Semite and anyone who legitimately criticizes Hezbollah and Hamas gets labeled as anti-Muslim. I've been highly skeptical of all of the popular 9/11 conspiracy theories ever since I first started hearing them. However the more I think about it the less skeptical I get. It is possible that our government either planned 9/11 or knew about it and let it happen. The latter theory is highly more plausilble.

By the way, by the "government" I mean the Executive Branch. This adminisration doesn't even let its Republican friends in Congress know what it's doing, let alone the American people. The Repulican Imperialist Neocons have taken over our country without firing a shot and we let them do it. I'm starting to seriously think that these people are actually trying to bring about Armageddon and the Rapture. It's time for us to unite and rise up against this insanity!! (Don't count on the Democrats to help!) This administration is on its way towards sending us into WWIII. Even it that doesn't happen we're on our way towards a total collapse of our economy.These evil people need to be stopped!This entire administration needs to be impeached and put on trial for war crimes and for the murder of thousands of innocent people. But that will never happen. Most Americans care more about who the next American Idol will be than about standing up for the survival of their country and the world. God (if there is one) help us all! WORLD WAR III IS COMING !!! FIGHT THE TRUE EVIL!!!
